ZX is pure KICKER power, ultimately developed to fuse with KICKER subwoofers and speakers for an incredible musical experience in any vehicle. But ZX power can be used with any gear in any installation — there’s an option for every need.
ZX-Series Amplifiers provide power in stereo, multi-channel, hybrid, or mono formats and are available in 20 different models, allowing plenty of options to exactly match any installation. And they’ll visually add to any system a dark, rugged touch that leaves no doubt to the sorcery going on under its shroud.
ZX Mono-Sub Amplifiers A sub amp choice for every need — six ZX.1 Mono Subwoofer Amplifiers provide the muscle for absurd bass in every vehicle. Ranging from the 300-watt ZX300.1 up to the brutal 2,500 watts pulsating from the ZX2500.1, there’s a mono-channel amp for any system. Beneath its super-efficient heat sink, ZX Sub Amps use a 24dB/octave low-pass electronic crossover and a 12dB/octave subsonic filter defeatable at 25Hz. All come with remote bass control.
Controls for boost, gain, and crossover frequency are top-mounted for maximum accessibility, with a protection indicator for optimal viewing as well. All models use innovative "soft-start" circuitry to lower initial shock load when powering up, and a muting circuit cancels any audio trash surging down the line.
ZX Stereo Amplifiers Eight different ZX.2 Stereo Amplifiers make the decision easy on how much power is needed for an imposing system. From the 50-watt/channel ZX100.2 up to the burly 425-watt/channel ZX850.2, the seemingly endless list of features makes this group unbeatable. Each amp includes a built-in 12dB/octave high-, low-, or all-pass electronic crossover variable from 50 to 200Hz, and KICKEQô Boost that can offer up to 18dB of bass centered at 40Hz. The dynamite little ZX100.2 contains all the same features, except the crossover is fixed at 80Hz and the bass boost can erupt to 12dB. The bigger four include a mountable remote bass control directing subwoofer output.
ZX Multi-Channel and Hybrid Amplifiers For those who believe more is better, six ZX-Series Multi-Channel Amplifiers take care of multiple power issues from a single unit. With power ranging from 50 watts x 4 channels in the ZX200.4, to 215 vicious watts x 4 in the ZX850.4, these are some of the quietest power-producing pieces from the KICKER labs, thanks to balanced differential inputs that help eliminate any four-channel noise. Along with the same crossover and KICKEQ™ Bass Boost found in the stereo amps, ZX.4 amplifiers also include a fader button that gives the user complete control of output origination.
Take multi-channel a step further with the popular hybrid models ZX550.3 and ZX700.5, which include a sub-thumping, 420-watt Class D channel. The ZX550.3 mixes in 85 watts per channel, while the ZX700.5 has four channels producing 85 watts apiece.
